    About me

I’ve been climbing for 8 years; which at 18 means I’ve been climbing for almost half my life. In that time I’ve trained at multiple centres across the south-east and competed nationally; winning regional competitions and podiuming at open events across the country. Additionally to competition experience, I’ve climbed up to V9/7C outside and V10/7C+ indoors, with goals to break into the 8’s. Aside from climbing, I’m set to attend Bournemouth University to study mechanical engineering in September 2019.

    Your Setting Experience

I’ve been setting at Chimera Climbing Centre in Tunbridge Wells for roughly a year; not only setting problems but stripping and washing holds too. In that time I’ve gathered experience and learned from other talented setters such as Andre Hedger and Ed Hamer. I’ve also been part of the setting team for competitions hosted by Chimera; setting qualification boulders and assisting with stripping and resetting the comp wall for finals. Additionally, I am RSA Level 1 qualified for working at height and have attended courses such as an advanced competition setting class led by IFSC setter Jairo Bagota. I am currently pursuing experience at other centres in the hopes of becoming a true freelance routesetter.
