    About me

I have been climbing for about 7 years in New Brunswick. I started setting here and there at the UNB Rock and Ice Club’s bouldering wall in Fredericton, NB. From 2014-2017, I competed in the Canadian boulder circuit. In May of this year (2019), myself along with the other board members of the Fredericton Bouldering Co-op opened a new facility in Fredericton. I still have a lot to learn in the realm of setting but I am stoked to have a new gym in which to hone my setting skills that is open to new setters. I am joining this community in hopes to learn a lot more about setting and to bounce ideas off of other setters as I will be helping organize competitions at our gym.

    Your Setting Experience

I have set sporadically in a very casual, volunteer-based gym for a couple of years. At one time I was setting on a weekly basis for a few months but that soon trailed off and I only ever set for comps once every few months after that. At our new facility I will be setting on a weekly basis. I have never been paid to set.
