RSD Level 1 – Roped Setter Training – Redpoint Worcester
This 2-day course will focus on route setting best practice, equipment, rigging, ascent and descent, bag hauling, WAH, LOLER and PUWER regulations. A variety of companion rescue scenarios will be trained and practised over the two days, as will practical route-setting. The course is intended for climbers who have a have a good level of rope-work skills, can lead / belay and climb frequently indoors at 6b. This one-day course is the assessment element of the Roped Setter Level 1 qualification. It is also appropriate as a revalidation course for current Roped Setter qualification holders.
